PCB Socket with Long Bent Solder Pins
This ZCG variant carries long right-angle bent pins instead of straight PCB pins. The bent tail drops the connection plane down to the board, so the connector can be soldered onto a PCB mounted parallel to the panel while the socket face still sits flush at the front. The double-nut fixing keeps the front-panel installation workflow identical to the standard ZCG, across 0B to 3B shell sizes.
Key features
- Long right-angle bent PCB pins for parallel board mounting
- Double-nut front-panel fixing, no rear access needed
- 0B / 1B / 2B / 3B shell sizes, 2–32 contacts per contact layout
- Brass chrome-plated shell, PPS insulator, brass gold-plated contacts
- Full-metal shielding construction: ≥75 dB at 10 MHz, ≥40 dB at 1 GHz
- Mates with all B Series plug types in the matching shell size

Keying options
The socket uses the B Series positioning-pin keying system with 0° (G) as the standard key position; 30° (A), 60° (B), 90° (C), 45° (J) and 155° (F) positions are listed in the catalogue.
FAQ
When is the long elbow-pin version the right choice?
When the PCB sits parallel to the front panel and straight pins cannot reach the board. The bent pins bring the solder plane down to the board level without standoffs.
How do I get the pin-out for my board layout?
Tell us the shell size, contact count and PCB hole pattern in the inquiry, and we will confirm the part code and send the pin-out drawing.
Does it use the same mounting hole as the standard ZCG?
Yes — the shell, thread and double-nut fixing match the standard ZCG socket, so the panel cutout and hardware stay the same.
Typical applications
Use this socket on instrument mainboards and interface boards that sit parallel to the front panel, where straight pins cannot reach the board without spacers — measurement modules, drive units and control interfaces in compact housings.
