90° Elbow Plug for Tight Cable Routing
The B Series THG elbow plug turns the cable exit through 90°, so the harness leaves the connector sideways instead of straight back. This keeps the cable run inside narrow panel pockets, robotic arms and cramped instrument housings while keeping the same push-pull latching and positioning-pin keying as the straight TGG plug. The catalogue lists nut-tail and sleeve-tail versions for every shell size from 00B to 4B.
Key features
- 90° cable exit for installations with limited rear clearance
- 2–32 contact layouts across 00B / 0B / 1B / 2B / 3B / 4B shell sizes
- Same latch and keying system as the B Series straight plugs
- Brass chrome-plated shell, PPS insulator, brass gold-plated contacts
- Full-metal shielding construction: ≥75 dB at 10 MHz, ≥40 dB at 1 GHz
- Nut-tail and sleeve-tail versions available

Keying options
The THG plug uses the B Series positioning-pin keying system with 0° (G) as the standard key position. 30° (A), 60° (B), 90° (C), 45° (J) and 155° (F) key positions are listed in the catalogue, so the elbow orientation can be coordinated with adjacent connectors to prevent mismating.
FAQ
Does the elbow change the mating direction?
No. The plug still pushes straight into the socket and latches; only the cable exit is turned 90°. Locking, unlocking and the contact layouts match the straight TGG plug.
Can I get the sleeve tail instead of the nut tail?
Yes. Both tail versions share the same shell and contact layouts. State the tail version and cable OD in your inquiry and we will confirm the matching code.
Which sockets does the THG plug mate with?
B Series fixed and floating sockets — ZGG, ZEG, ZCG, ZPG, ZXG and DHG — in the same shell size, contact layout and key position.
Typical applications
Suited to camera and sensor cabling where the connector sits close to a panel wall, hand-held instruments where the cable should run along the body, and any B Series mating pair where a straight plug would fold the cable sharply.
