Front-Sealed Plug with Anti-Loss Lanyard
This B Series TEG variant adds a stainless lanyard between the plug body and its dust cap, so the cap stays with the connector when it is unplugged. The cap cannot be dropped or left behind on site, which protects the front-sealed contact face in field service and rental equipment. Electrically and mechanically it matches the standard TEG plug: same push-pull latch, positioning-pin keying, solder contacts and 0B–3B core range, with the catalogue also listing a 4B size.
Key features
- Stainless anti-loss lanyard retains the dust cap on the plug
- Front sealing O-ring on the mating face

- Solder termination, sleeve tail with cable clamp
- Brass chrome-plated shell, PPS insulator, brass gold-plated contacts, silicone seal

Keying options
The plug uses the B Series positioning-pin keying system with 0° (G) as the standard key position; 30° (A), 60° (B), 90° (C), 45° (J) and 155° (F) positions are listed in the catalogue.
FAQ
Can the lanyard length be specified?
The catalogue lists lanyard dimension N of 140 mm for 0B and 1B, 160 mm for 2B and 190 mm for 3B. If your service loop needs a different length, state it in the inquiry and we will confirm what can be supplied.
What is the difference from the standard TEG plug?
Only the lanyard between the body and the dust cap. Shell, sealing, contacts, keying and latch are the same as the standard TEG front-sealed plug.
Is the dust cap included?
Yes. The cap with lanyard is part of this variant; plug-side and socket-side dust caps are also listed as B Series accessories.
Typical applications
Built for broadcast, medical and test-equipment fleets where connectors are mated and unmated many times a day and a lost cap would leave the contact face exposed. The lanyard keeps the cap attached without extra operator steps.
