Fixed Plug Mounted Through the Panel
The B Series TAG fixed plug mounts through the enclosure wall with its threaded front collar. The cable-side harness stays inside the enclosure while the mating face sits outside, so the mating side can be replaced or serviced without opening the cabinet. Contacts are available in solder-wire and PCB layouts, and the catalogue dimension table covers every shell size from 00B to 4B.
Key features
- Threaded front collar fixes the plug through the panel
- 00B / 0B / 1B / 2B / 3B / 4B shell sizes, 2–32 contacts

Keying options
The TAG plug uses the B Series positioning-pin keying system with 0° (G) as the standard key position; 30° (A), 60° (B), 90° (C), 45° (J) and 155° (F) positions are listed in the catalogue for applications where several same-size connectors sit side by side.
FAQ
When should I use a TAG fixed plug instead of a cable plug?
Use TAG when the connector belongs to the equipment, not to the cable: the harness inside the enclosure is wired once, and operators mate and unmate the external line at the panel without opening the housing.
Which sockets mate with the TAG plug?
External line-side B Series plugs — TGG, THG or TEG — in the same shell size, contact layout and keying position. The socket side is wired inside the enclosure on the TAG's own contacts.
Can the TAG be supplied with PCB contacts?
Yes. Solder-wire and PCB contact layouts are available in the same shell, so the inside termination can follow your board or harness design.
Typical applications
Use the TAG fixed plug where the connector must stay accessible from outside a sealed enclosure — battery packs, control modules and machine panels — so field operators can mate and unmate the line without opening the housing.
