    System notes

    Built around useful technology

The P Series PKG fixed socket is the panel-mounted counterpart of the PAG push-pull plug. It is fixed with a hex nut and comes with solder-wire, PCB and long elbow-pin PCB termination options in the same 0P–3P shell sizes.

    Termination options

Three termination styles cover the usual board and harness layouts: solder-wire for cable-side wiring, straight PCB pins for direct board mounting, and a long elbow-pin PCB version for layouts that need the extra pin length and bend. State which one your board or harness expects.

    Panel mounting

The socket is fixed through the panel with a hex nut, so the mating face sits on the equipment housing while the contacts stay on the inside. Pin counts follow the same shell-size logic as the PAG plug, from 2–9 pins on the 0P shell to 2–32 pins on the 2P.

    Family options

The P Series covers straight plugs (PAG), floating sockets (PRG) and fixed sockets (PKG), so a complete plastic push-pull solution can be sourced from one series with shared shell sizes and pin counts.

    Where it is used

Typical applications are medical devices, monitoring instruments and compact industrial equipment where a lightweight, non-metallic connector is preferred.

    Questions buyers ask before ordering

Does it mate with the PAG plug?

Yes. The PKG is the fixed-socket counterpart of the PAG straight plug and shares the same 0P–3P shell sizes and pin counts.

    Fixed or floating socket?

PKG is the fixed version, held by a hex nut. If the alignment between plug and socket can drift in your build, the floating version (PRG) of the family is the alternative β€” mention it in the inquiry and we will confirm availability for your shell size.

    What should an inquiry include?

The shell size, pin count, termination style (solder-wire, PCB or long elbow-pin PCB), the mating plug you plan to use, and your target quantity.

    Request this socket

Tell us the shell size, termination style and mating plug, and we will confirm the fixed socket variant.

    Product inquiry

Send the application, interface, target quantity and delivery window. We will return a clear route for feasibility, sampling and production.
