The W Series ZGG fixed socket completes the underwater connection on the equipment side. It is offered in 90° elbow and straight arrangements and keeps the same threaded O-ring sealing concept as the W Series plug, so both halves of the link share one sealing design.

Straight or 90° elbow arrangement
Use the straight arrangement when the cable can leave the housing in line with the connector. Use the 90° elbow when the interior behind the entry is tight or the cable must run along the shell after the exit — a common case on compact underwater housings and ROV frames.
Pairing with the W Series plug
The socket is used together with the W Series TGG underwater high-pressure straight plug, so both sides share the same threaded locking and O-ring plus triangle sealing. Ordering plug and socket from the same series keeps the IP68 interface consistent across the whole link.
Working range and mating life
The socket is specified for more than 1,000 mating cycles and operates from -20 °C to +200 °C. Check both figures against your deployment before fixing the design, and state any demanding duty in the inquiry.
Where it is used
Typical applications are underwater housings, ROV equipment and subsea sensor installations where the equipment side needs a fixed, sealed connector interface.
Questions buyers ask before ordering
Do I need the TGG plug from the same series?
The sealing concept is designed for the W Series pairing, so the socket is normally ordered with the TGG straight plug. If you plan to mate it with another connector, describe it in the inquiry first.
Elbow or straight?
That depends on the space behind the panel and the cable route. Both arrangements are available in the same shell sizes, so you can decide late in the design; state your choice with the order.
What should an inquiry include?
The pin count (2–32), the arrangement (90° elbow or straight), the shell size, the water depth condition of the deployment, and your target quantity.
Request this socket
State the pin count and whether you need the 90° elbow or straight arrangement, and we will confirm the socket code.
