The S Series TFA straight plug covers single-core connections, including coaxial and fluid/fiber combinations within the S Series range. The half-moon keying profile guarantees correct polarity orientation, and the push-pull lock gives the same one-hand operation as the rest of the family.

Why polarity keying matters on single-core links
On a one-contact connection there is no second pin to catch a reversed mating, so orientation errors are easy to make and hard to notice. The half-moon keying profile allows the plug to close only in the correct polarity orientation — the simple mechanical answer to a common single-core failure mode. The same keying system is shared across the S Series multi-core versions, so panels that mix single-core and multi-core connectors stay consistent.
Mechanical and thermal ratings
The plug is rated for 10–2000 Hz vibration at 15 G, a 100 G shock with 6 ms duration, more than 5,000 mating cycles, and a -55 °C to +230 °C working range. Compare these figures with the environment of your RF link or sensor cable before fixing the design.
The wider S Series
The S Series also covers 2–24 pin multi-core versions with straight and 90° elbow exits and solder, crimp or PCB terminations, sharing the same keying system. For the panel side, see the S Series ZRD double-nut fixed socket.
Where it is used
Typical applications are RF and signal links, sensor cabling and compact instruments that need one or few coaxial or precision contacts.
Questions buyers ask before ordering
Can it carry my coaxial layout?
The single-core contact covers coaxial and fluid/fiber combinations within the S Series range. Describe the signal or coaxial layout and cable type in the inquiry and we will confirm the version and shell size.
How do I prevent reversed mating?
You do not need to: the half-moon keying profile only allows correct polarity orientation. If your build mixes several S Series connectors, mention it so the keying positions are allocated correctly.
What should an inquiry include?
The signal or coaxial layout, the cable type, the shell size preference (00S–4S), the working environment, and your target quantity.
