The HR10 straight plug is the cable-side machine vision connector for industrial cameras and compact automation equipment. Five pin counts — 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 — carry power and signal in one small shell, with pin or socket contacts and solder-wire or PCB terminations.
Specification overview
| Pins | 4 / 6 / 8 / 10 / 12 |
|---|---|
| Protection | IP50 |
| Working temperature | -20 °C to +80 °C |
| Shock | 100 G, 6 ms |
| Locking | Push-pull or threaded (T version) |
| Contacts | Pin / socket, solder / PCB |
Push-pull or threaded locking
The standard version uses push-pull self-locking: the plug connects with a straight push and holds by its own locking mechanism. The threaded T version is available where a screwed coupling is preferred. State the locking type with your order.
Checking the rating against your environment
The plug is rated for a 100 G shock with a 6 ms duration and operates from -20 °C to +80 °C. Use these figures to compare the connector against your camera’s own environment rating before fixing the design.
Contacts and terminations
Pin and socket contact styles are both available, with solder-wire or PCB termination. Both contact styles and both termination methods can be combined; state your preference in the inquiry.
Where it is used
Typical applications are machine vision industrial cameras, industrial automation signal lines, measurement and surveying instruments, robots and drones — compact equipment where a small, securely locked multi-pin connector matters.
The camera-side counterpart is the HR10 machine vision floating socket, available in floating and fixed versions.
Questions buyers ask before ordering
Which pin count should I choose?
Five counts are available: 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 pins. Match the count to the power and signal lines your camera needs, then confirm the exact version in your inquiry.
Can it mate with the floating socket?
Yes. The straight plug is the cable-side counterpart of the HR10 socket family, including the floating and fixed sockets.
What should an inquiry include?
The camera model or pin count, the locking type (push-pull or threaded T), the contact and termination preference, and your target quantity.
