The F Series THG 90° elbow plug routes the cable at a right angle to the mating axis. It keeps the IP68 sealing and push-pull locking of the F Series while reducing the axial space needed behind the equipment wall.

When the elbow exit is the right choice
Use the THG when the connector sits against a panel or inside a housing where a straight cable exit would bend the cable beyond its allowed radius. The elbow turns the cable at the connector instead, so the harness follows the equipment wall and the bend radius of the cable is preserved — a common requirement on robot arms and compact sealed enclosures.
Same interface as the straight variants
The THG shares its pin range (2–27), IP68 sealing, locking design and 5,000-cycle rating with the straight F Series plugs, including the F Series TGG high-sealing long straight plug. That means an exit-style change does not force a redesign of the electrical side; the choice is made in the ordering code.
Terminations and working range
Solder, crimp and PCB terminations cover classic harness work, solder-free volume production and direct board connection. The plug works from -55 °C to +250 °C and is specified for more than 5,000 mating cycles; check both against your installation before fixing the design.
Where it is used
Typical applications are robot arms, portable devices and sealed enclosures with limited rear space.
Questions buyers ask before ordering
Elbow or straight — how do I decide?
Measure the space behind the panel. If a straight exit would force the cable into a tight bend, take the elbow; otherwise the straight variants are simpler to route. Both share the same electrical interface.
Does the elbow version keep the IP68 rating?
Yes. The 90° elbow plug carries the same IP68 high sealing as the straight F Series plugs.
What should an inquiry include?
The pin count, the termination style (solder, crimp or PCB), the available space behind the panel, the cable type, and your target quantity.
